Greetings, ambitious material girls. I’ve been soaking up my final semester at Penn and figured I owe you an update on my life, lore, and loves, so we’re taking the regular IG Q&A and favorites to the newsletter today. First up, let’s talk my March glow up - I’m so excited about this because I feel like I’m in my final hot girl form after implementing these. Here’s the details:
March Favorites: My Golden Hour Glow-Up
This portion of the newsletter is sponsored by Flamingo. Obsessed with them, and grateful for their support and yours!
March has not been a chill month. Between hosting my Philly book signing and helping to host a 3,000-person event at Penn, I had back-to-back reasons to show up and glow up. So in case you’re craving your own spring reset, I’m walking you through everything I did to look and feel my best this month. Because city girls deserve to glow, too ✨
Let’s start with the basics — because for me, the glow-up begins in the shower.
I’ve been loving Flamingo’s new Glow Shave Collection, which genuinely turned my shave routine into a little luxurious moment:
• The Smoothing Shave Prep Scrub is an exfoliating dream,
• The Nourishing Shave Oil gives me that super-smooth glide,
• And the Soothing Post-Shave Serum leaves my skin soft and glowy, like I just got back from vacation.
It’s giving golden hour all year long — even when I’m just shaving my legs before a long day of meetings. The whole experience is affordable but luxe, and it’s truly elevated my everyday routine.
I also got serious about skincare. After breaking out like crazy, I booked facials at Rescue Spa (city girl skin = pollution central), where they showed me just how much gunk was living in my pores. I’ve been loving anti-pollution masks followed by a collagen overnight mask, plus weekly dermaplaning with the Flamingo dermaplaner — it’s one of the most underrated products for an instant glow.
On top of that, I decided to invest in NAD+ shots for the first time (TBD on results, but I felt energized). I saw celebs on TikTok talking about the benefits and as a wellness aficionado, I spent hours trying to figure out the benefits. The science is there, but maybe I’ll just have to wait and see what happens?
And of course, I had to get a spray tan before hosting Fight Night, event — yes, Black girls get spray tans too, and they look so good when done right! UGH I cannot wait to be tan all summer!
I also got braids, which doubled as a full-on admin day: I did my taxes, knocked out assignments, and scheduled my week — productivity meets self-care. And finally, I tested out Solidcore, which was actually torture but had me feeling so snatched. Still, CorePower remains my go-to for workouts that are challenging but not humiliating.
So, whether you’re prepping for a big event or just want to feel a little more like yourself, I hope this inspires your own golden hour moment this spring. You deserve it.
March’s Mood Board:
Q&A: Post-Grad, Post-Robes, Post-Book Launch
I love to do a weekly Q&A on IG but this month has been insane and I haven’t gotten to it, so I figured I’d answer the most common questions I get here for the girlies.
Q: What are you doing after graduation?
A: I have not one single smidge of a clue. I realized, though, that I really am a business nerd, and I miss solving big business problems like I did while helping to launch Shorts at YouTube for 2 years before I came to Wharton. So, I’m exploring a few things: launching my own consulting practice, applying to work at luxury brands, or going all in on the podcast & Substack.
Q: Are you excited to go to Paris?
A: Couldn’t be more ready. ICYMI, I’m studying abroad in Paris right after graduation (a fun little loophole in Wharton’s credit system that any extra credits you have you can take pass-fail at INSEAD’s summer sessions, provided you’re accepted of course), so I get to spend 6 weeks in Europe! It’s out of my comfort zone, but once in a lifetime (I never go to study abroad in undergrad!) and I am so excited. Send all recs - where should I head on the weekends for a fun trip?
Q: Is the podcast coming back?
A: Short answer yes! I have so many ideas and simply not enough time to execute on the interviews and talks I want to share with you. Something I’m working on is not rushing things and being more present, but I understand that feels like whiplash for you all when you’ve been getting weekly episodes of TSFT for years. But I realized that if I want to keep the podcast going, I’ve got to do some real strategizing, and that’s where I’m at rn. Can’t wait to share when I feel like it’s ready <3
Q: How’s the book launch going?
A: Sooooooo fun but also IDK what’s going on. I don’t get a ton of metric updates, all that I know is when I get DMs from you all that you love it, and apparently we sold out of copies at the Penn bookstore! Eep! Please continue to share and give me your feedback, leave reviews on Amazon!!! I am genuinely shocked by how many people are excited to support and I am so grateful for you all. Wow. Life is amazing!!!
Q: How are you staying sane with the current news cycle?
A: Whew, girl. Every day a new disaster from the government! I found myself doom-scrolling way too much last month, so I deleted Twitter from my phone and it’s reduced my anxiety a ton. I set a time limit for reading the news and make sure to talk to my friends about things and try to organize for what we can do. I have always been a politically active person, and early in my influencer career I shared a ton about my beliefs and I campaigned for Kamala last year. However, with everything going on with higher education, I decided that for my and my classmates’ safety, it’s best to lay low while I’m still at Penn, as anything I publicly say can be scrutinized and reflected on the university.
All the other links and outfits you asked for will be updated on Sunday after I finish entertaining 3,000 people at Penn’s Fight Night, which benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia. You will not believe the looks I have ready to go - stay tuned on IG stories!
Love you all, fun projects coming soon for ya <3
xx

I know people hate unsolicited advice but I'm going to throw my two cents in (and I'm not attempting to trigger you or anything) but have you considered impact investing? I feel like it's the perfect fit for you because it marries public interest work with profit making. You get to make a difference without sacrificing yourself. If not that, I also see you working in PE or even VC generally.
